Well this Friday we made our First trip to the Zoo! We picked a great day since it wasn't very hot (where is summer anyways?) and it was pretty much overcast the whole day! It was a great outing since Don's parents and my mom and dad came with! Aiden did a great job and really enjoyed the flamingos and bats! He did not sleep the entire day and really loved people watching (or staring at all the kids running around)! The Milwaukee Zoo is beautiful and I remembered some things from when I last attended when I was still a kid! It is so exciting to see things through the eyes of a child again (even if he is 10 months old) and I can't wait till next year when he will be able to walk around himself and maybe even enjoy the petting zoo or a camel ride! It was a great experience and it gave me some great inspiration for decorating for Aiden's upcoming First Birthday Party (we are going with a jungle theme)!

The Abbott's!

Wow it doesn't taste as good as I thought it Would!

Well as you can tell it has been awhile since the last update...we have had many computer issues in the Abbott Household! All that is past us now thanks to a very nice and generous neighbor (thanks Neil) and finally I am able to update with new photos of the little man! I can't believe we have had our First Fourth and are now 10 months old!!! We enjoyed going to the Belvidere parade, I was a little nervous that the noise would bother Aiden but it was me that jumped when the vets fired guns! Aiden really enjoyed watching everyone and I must say many people enjoyed watching him! We had a great time out on the boat to watch the best fireworks around here on the Rock River with our friends Bryan, Kim, Alex, and little Brayden. What is cute that Brayden was born on our anniversary (June 12th) and that Aiden and him will be future classmates and football teammates according to Don and Bryan! It was a great time and I can't believe how quickly the summer is flying by!

What is that light that is shimmering?

Well Aiden turned 9 months old on June 17th and had his wellness check up with our new Pediatrician. I really felt good with the new doctor and Aiden was a champ (could it be that there were NO shots?). Aiden weighed in at 19 lbs. 13 oz. (45%), he was 27 inches long (5%), and his head was 47 cm (75%)...what a big head! I can't believe how quickly these 9 months have gone by and how I am now in Party Planning mode for the big First Birthday. Those of you that know me know that I like to plan WAY in advance so I am taking my time off this summer to get in party mode! Enjoy the new photos!!!!
