The Start of Winter Break!

Sitting tall!

Do I look Like Santa?

Yes I am smiling at my mom...

My friend next door...aren't we cute!

Well winter break unofficially started yesterday due to a much needed SNOW DAY! It was nice getting the extra day with my boys! Well we have met some milestones that mom and dad are very proud of lately. We have very good control of our head and upper body and have just started sitting in the Bumbo Chair. We are really talking now and my dad keeps working on his vowel sounds with him!!! It is quite cute to see grandpa working so hard. The really neat thing that Aiden has started to do is follow our voices with his head now. It is so exciting to see him responding to us. One of the best things that Aiden has started doing in the past couple weeks is smiling at us. No its not maybe gas anymore... it is an official smile and we love it. I am happy to have the time off to update the site...can you tell and get some much needed scrapbooking done! Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Baby's First Thanksgiving!
Yes I am!

Yes I am!

Thanksgiving Day 2008!!!

I am a "Little Turkey"!!!

Well we have a LOT to be thankful for this year and would have never guessed that Aiden would be with us this Thanksgiving. This is exactly one year ago that we did our first fertility treatment that didn't work and little did we know that by Christmas we would be pregnant with Aiden. It is amazing all that can happen in one year. We spent the afternoon with my side of the family then went to Don's parents for dinner. It was a great day and Aiden slept through a lot of it as any little one would! I must say I look foward to next year when he will be eating some real food and getting to see the mess he makes. The break was nice to have with Don and Aiden and I look foward to winter break with them both and maybe catching up on some scrappbooking!

My Costumes!!!

Yes there was more than one. We had the ladybug that Nana bought....the pumpkin that mom bought at the Pumpkin Patch (notice no photo of this one because it was WAY to SMALL and would not go over his head) I later realized it was for a doll not a child... and the spider (which was WAY to big) and realized that you need to see the costume in person and not order it online!!! So thank you Nana for having bought the ladybug because that was the only one that really worked out!!!! None the less he looked cute in them both...even if the one is WAY to big!

Happy Halloween

Trick -or-Treat!!!
Yes this is a candy holder!

What more can you say...look at the face!

Everyone needs a pair of pumpkin socks!

How cute are we?

Well it was a wonderful Halloween. The weather was the nicest that I can remember and I got to take Aiden to school and watch my kids in the Halloween Parade. It was so nice to see all of the parents and students from last year that kept wondering when I would have my baby. The little guy was fully dressed for the event in his ladybug outfit and everyone got a great laugh when seeing him. He was tired bye time we got home and was so hot from his fleece outfit that he got quite the heat rash. We spent the rest of the night with both sets of grandparents handing out candy to the neighborhood kids and enjoying Aiden's First Halloween. As you can tell he had quite the Halloween wardrobe and it was very sad packing all of this stuff up recently. It is hard seeing him grow so fast.

Getting Updated!

Just hanging out with dad!
Taking a nap together!

I do love my mommy!

Enjoying a much needed nap!

Being a working mom has left little time to maintain this poor site! I am going to try to get better and use the swing and gym to let me update things in a quicker fashion! We will see if that works out. Anyways I have been back to work and things are going well. We are getting in the swing of things and figuring out how to eat dinner as a family every night in the 1 hour time frame we have and talk about our days. It has been harder on Don with the whole needing to sleep during the day and Aiden does not want to sleep. Thankfully aunt Michelle has come to the rescue and is helping out so that Don gets some much needed RNR. Even though it was hard on mommy to leave little one it is really neat to see the way he looks at Don now that they are spending some quality time together during the week. We are enjoying each day and can't believe how quickly our little man is growing. He is holding his head up all on his own, enjoys gym time and looking at the lights. The christmas trees are up and he really is in awe of them both. I am going to update photos from Halloween---to ----Thanksgiving and bear with me that I am so behind! We only have 2 weeks of school then I get 2 weeks off for Winter Break and I can't wait.
