Father's Day!

Father's Day was a great first for Don and Aiden. Don spent the morning with his dad fishing and he had a quite successful morning... catching 6+ fish while his dad only caught 1. We will say this was a First Father's Day gift!!! Then in the afternoon we cooked out with Don and Teri. It was a great day, beautiful weather and another great memory for our first year as a family with Aiden. Daddy and Me!

Our 5th Anniversary!

June 12th, 2oo4 Well we can not believe how quickly these 5 years have gone by! Last Friday we celebrated our fifth anniversary and went out to eat for a nice dinner, followed by a trip to the grocery store (had to get finger foods for Aiden), then a nice movie. The real highlight was a night of full sleep...thanks mom and dad! It is funny what you take as a gift when you have a little one! The whole crew...wow how fun to look back at these photos!
Saying our "I Do's"
The beautiful girls...ready to party!
I am a week behind on my updates...due to computer issues. Our disk drive is shot and all of our wedding pictures are now on Cd's and I could not get them onto the blog from our home computer. How I love technology! We are busy enjoying each other as we look back over these last 5 years and how excited we are to now be starting our family!!!! My how time flies!

A Trip to the ER, a First Birthday, and a Family Dinner!

Layla and Aiden...so cute!

Enjoying the party!

The Cute Cake...of course a ladybug!

Well lets start by saying what a BUSY weekend! Our weekend started by plans to attend a first birthday party (Happy Birthday Layla Bug) and a family dinner with many members of Don's family that were in town this weekend....but all of that got a bit off schedule with Don getting terribly sick Saturday morning. Long story short and a trip to Saint Anthony's Don has another yes that is right a 2nd kidney stone. The nurses diagnosed him just by his "walk" that he had a stone and they were correct. So thanks to many a drugs and some IV fluids all is well with Don and we were able to attend the party and the dinner. And a great update: Don passed his stone this evening!!!! On a side note the doctors and I recommended that Don cut down his soda consumption to around 4 a day instead of his NORMAL 6+. I will add that to my to-do list for this summer to make sure Don cuts down on the Coke!!!

My kids meet my kid...

Well since I only have 3 days left (last day with them on Wednesday) my students have been asking..."When will we meet Aiden?". So with not many days left Don brought in Aiden today to meet my kids. He was a special reader and we read Mr. Brown Can Moo...Can You? The kids did a great job and wanted to get very close to him! They showed him our monthly macarena and kept saying how cute he was. They also asked what was on his leg (his strawberry) it's funny what they notice! It is funny because I always refer to my students as my kids and they do become that after the months we share together. It was nice sharing my son with this group this year and sharing the fact that I am now a mommy with my students.

Enjoying the Nice Weather!

Riley kisses...

What a cute little man!

I look like I'm going to ....but I didn't!

I don't want to crawl but let me show you...

Yes dad was in charge of bath duty this weekend!

Well it is almost officially summer break for me and I can't wait to be a "stay at home mommy" for at least 3 months!!! I have lots of things planned...working on crawling, swim classes, reading time at the library, and of course maybe starting Aiden's scrap booking album! I am very excited for Friday (my last institute day) to come and we have been enjoying the nice weather as a family the last couple weekends. Enjoy the cute photos! Aiden's first grass experience and of course Riley kisses to go along with it! Oh and did I mention what Don did when lotioning up Aiden after bath time....enjoy!
